Gourmet Dinners - Monday 21 to Thursday 24 July
Come along to the Gourmet Dinners during the second week of the
tournament. Fill in your name on the booking sheets in the club house. Watch the latter rounds
of each draw then dine in style. This year's chefs are:-
- Monday 21 - Ros Norkett and Marjan Denis (chicken, lamb with dill)
- Tuesday 22 - Robbie (Cumberland chef, moussaka) and Moira Duncan (puddings)
- Wednesday 23 - Rachael Gangji (fish pie)
- Thursday 24 - Brian Coffey and Sue Ehr
(Mediterranean chicken, American cheesecake, crumble)

If (and only if) you are visiting the club you are entitled to one complimentary bottle per
visit. This provision is to ensure that supplies last until Finals Day at the end of the second week.

West Heath Grass Court Opening Times
The grass courts are now open for play
currently between 12 noon and 21:00, weather permitting. They are playing
beautifully. Come and join us for social tennis at 14:30 at the weekends

The Tennis Club
West Heath is run by the members and has a groundsman and club
coach. It has three grass courts and two shale courts
and runs two men's and two ladies' tennis teams in the Middlesex
leagues. In summer there is "social tennis" on Tuesday
evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons, allowing members to
turn up and play without the need to pre-arrange a game.
There is also a West Heath summer tennis
tournament enjoyed by members of
all standards.
The West Heath calendar includes American tennis tournaments, parties and,
during the club tournament, "Gourmet Dinners" culminating in a
Finals Day barbeque. At weekends afternoon teas are provided
by members.
West Heath Club members enjoy a 15% discount on most tennis items from
Eurosport in the Finchley Road (East side, Swiss Cottage end).
